TIPS:
-Peak pollen production time is from 5 am-10am. Stay inside during this time frame.
-Keep windows and doors closed during the day to prevent pollen from coming inside and settling on surfaces.
-Use eye drops frequently to keep eyes flushed of pollen.
-Wash your hands instead of using hand sanitizer.
-Take a bath or shower before going to bed to wash off all pollen from your skin. This will keep the pollen from attacking you while you sleep.
-Wash sheets more frequently during allergy season.
-Take an over-the-counter (OTC) allergy medication daily, such as Zyrtec, Claritan or Benedryl.
-If you have pets that live indoors, give them baths more frequently during allergy season. Their fur holds onto pollen!!
-Drink plenty of water throughout the day to stay hydrated!
